Texas Ranger Tre Top One CB Radio AM/SSB
Texas Ranger TRE Top One AM/SSB CB Radio
The Texas Ranger TRE Top One is a CB radio with AM and single sideband (SSB) operating modes. It gives CB enthusiasts a choice of communication modes in one radio, making it an option for buyers who want to participate in both everyday AM conversations and SSB activity.
Two Modes for Your CB Setup
- AM operation: Use amplitude modulation to communicate with other CB operators using AM.
- SSB operation: Single sideband provides an alternative to AM for communicating with other SSB-equipped CB radios.
- Texas Ranger model: The TRE Top One is identified by its model name, helping you match the radio to the appropriate documentation and accessories.
Choosing the Right Radio
If you are building a CB setup or replacing an existing radio, AM/SSB capability gives you flexibility when choosing how to communicate. For a successful conversation, both stations need compatible equipment and matching channel and operating-mode settings. SSB communication requires the stations to select the same sideband.

Before Installation
Plan your installation around a suitable CB antenna system and a power source that meets the radio manufacturer's requirements. Antenna selection, tuning, installation, terrain, and operating conditions affect communication performance; a particular range is not guaranteed.
Check the model-specific documentation for electrical requirements, connections, mounting instructions, and controls before installing or connecting accessories. If you need a particular microphone, mounting bracket, power cable, antenna, or other accessory, confirm package contents with TekShack before ordering. Accessories are not represented as included unless confirmed.
