Check compatibility before installation
A 3-pin connector alone does not establish compatibility. Confirm the connector shape, pin arrangement, polarity, and required supply voltage against your equipment's documentation. Also confirm that the equipment's current requirements and the vehicle socket's rating are appropriate for this cord and its 8-amp fuse.
This is a power connection cord, not a voltage-conversion adapter. Do not assume compatibility with a particular radio or other device unless its power requirements and connector configuration have been checked.
Installation considerations
Use the 6-foot length to plan a cable route that avoids sharp edges, excessive tension, heat sources, and moving parts. Follow your equipment manufacturer's installation instructions and specified fuse requirements.
