This service modifies a compatible amateur radio originally operating on the 10-meter band (28.000–29.700 MHz) to function on the 11-meter CB band (26.965–27.405 MHz). The conversion is accomplished by reprogramming or retuning the internal circuitry, and is offered only on radios capable of supporting this frequency change.

This modification is for export or authorized use only. It should not be used in violation of FCC regulations. Once modified, the radio is suitable for 11-meter operation in regions where it is legally permitted.
