The Radio Shack TRC-484 CB Radio boasts a built-in 40-channel PLL frequency synthesizer that utilizes a precise frequency reference crystal for reliable and precise tuning. Other notable features include a Digital Channel Display for easy viewing of channel numbers, a Squelch Circuit that reduces noise between transmissions, and a RF Gain Control to prevent overloading from strong signals. Additional features include TX and RX Indicators to show when the radio is transmitting or receiving, a Channel Selector for easy channel selection, and Channel Up/Down Buttons for easy access while holding the microphone.
